Our team, consisting of me, Miles, and Angilee, started by brainstorming six picture ideas and shooting them to show how to create and print a document. These photos followed the guidelines of the six basic photography types, (extreme close-up, very close-up, close-up, over-the-shoulder, wide shot, and very wide shot). We then took these pictures and put them into a six-slide powerpoint with captions about what is happening in each shot. After finishing and presenting this project we began to work on turning our pictures into film. We set up the tripod and filmed, roughly following the picture guidelines that we had set for ourselves. After this, we took the videos into Adobe Premier Pro and edited, adding music to go along with it too. We all went at this professionally, varying up the jobs between each other. Angilee worked with the camera, taking the pictures and videos. Miles stayed in front of the camera and worked as our actor. I helped set up the scenes and direct what was happening. All three of us edited what we took and created our own final products. I believe that my video turned out well, though it was hard to fit everything in 30 seconds. There are a few things I could've tweaked to make the video flow easier, and after presenting to the class and getting feedback, I did change these things. These included establishing a better beginning, middle, and end, switching a clip with another to make more sense, and add a title to the video, but all in all I think the project turned out well and was a good introduction into filming and editing. I'm excited to continue to shoot and edit more of these. :)
